2017 Innovation Feast

The fourth beat of UC Berkeley’s Eat.Think.Design project showcases will hit the Jacobs Institute design floor on Thursday, May 4th, 2017: Innovation Feast 2017.

This year’s class of graduate students from over a dozen academic programs – with backgrounds that range from farmer to physicians, a Navy veteran, a General Mills strategist, a cheese expert, and many more – have been hard at work addressing the big challenges that our world faces with food and food systems. From Yolcan‘s chinampa farms sourcing sustainable produce for restaurants across Mexico City to Sariwa‘s kitchens serving up Filipino culture and community alongside their roots-inspired dishes, these project teams collectively address issues on a domestic and global scale.

Innovation Feast will be an opportunity for the six project teams to present their work to a public audience. The Feast will encourage meaningful interactions amongst and between guests and students.

We’re excited to see you there! For more information and for ticket registration, follow the Eventbrite link here.
